Screen OD is a modern media company dedicated to making your screen time better.

Experts in television, streaming, film and online media with decades of experience in the business we believe that entertainment should always be entertaining.

We create useful, insightful and engaging multimedia content and high quality writing to help people find great things to watch and enhance their experience when they get there.

We believe in giving consumers only high quality content in the formats they want on the devices they use.

Here’s some of what we do:

  • create consumer-facing multi-media and written content on our own website and platforms, including the Screen OD YouTube channel and on TikTok
  • work with partners in publishing, broadcasting and the entertainment industry in consultancy, development of content strategies and content delivery
  • offer expert comment, insight and analysis on television, film, media and entertainment
  • offer hosting and presenting services

Our founder – Tim Glanfield

Tim founded Screen OD in 2022.

He has almost two decades of experience working in media and entertainment journalism.

An editor, journalist, author, broadcaster and presenter, he was Editor of RadioTimes.com for almost 10 years and grew the audience from 1m to almost 25m monthly users during that time.

Tim has also worked for The Times (of London) on Home News and written several columns for the Guardian newspaper.

In 2010 he founded media and entertainment website Beehive City alongside two former Times colleagues. A fictionalised version of this story was published as the book Digital Economy or Bust: The Story of a New Media Startup.

Tim makes regular appearances on television and radio as a commentator on media, entertainment and popular culture as well as hosting events. He is available for broadcast and writing, presenting, hosting, writing and consultancy.
