Ant and Dec sign exclusive new deal with ITV
Ant and Dec are celebrating 25 years of exclusivity with ITV by signing a further three year deal with commercial broadcaster.
The co-presenters, best known for their work on Britain’s Got Talent, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! and Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway are one of the most popular presenting pairs of all time and in their careers at ITV have picked up an astounding 43 National Television Awards and 18 BAFTA Awards.
Their most recent programme on ITV is called Limitless Win and sees contestants climb a cash ladder to win a limitless cash prize. The format has been a great success for ITV and is the most successful new entertainment launch for the broadcaster since the Masked Singer stormed onto our screens.
Ant and Dec will soon be hosting a special I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! all-star special set in South Africa.
They began their careers on-screen on BBC kid’s show Byker Grove before launching a pop career as PJ and Duncan.
After presenting ITV Saturday morning show SM:TV Live with Cat Deeley, the pair presented formats on the BBC before moving exclusively to ITV.
Kevin Lygo, Managing Director for Media and Entertainment at ITV, said: “The world of television and streaming is always a much brighter place with Ant & Dec at the centre of it, and we look forward to continuing our successful working relationship with them across the next three years.”
Ant said: “We’re so lucky to host the best entertainment shows in the world. We absolutely love our shows and we are both extremely happy and very excited to extend our relationship with ITV for another three years.”
Dec added: “We can’t believe we are reaching 25 years exclusively with ITV. Especially as we are both only turning 30 this year…!”
