Doctor Who arrives on Fall Guys
Ever fancied playing your favourite game as the Fourth, doing digital battle as the Thirteenth or trying out a pixelated version of the brand new Fourteenth’s costume for size? Well, it’s now a virtual reality if you head on over to Fall Guys as the BBC has announced that a brand new Doctor Who bundle has dropped on the cross-platform, multi-player party royale game.
And what is more, if you are feeling like playing a baddie rather than the Doctor, there’s even a Dalek skin you can try out – although it’s fair to say it looks a bit more friendly than the villains that the Doctor does battle within the TV series.
If you’re not aware, Fall Guys is an online game “where you and your fellow contestants compete through escalating rounds of absurd obstacle course chaos until one lucky victor remains.”
You are now able to transform your character into a version of Tom Baker’s iconic Fourth Doctor who he played from 1974 to 1981, complete with a scarf, hat and curly hair. If you’d prefer, you can become Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor who she played from 2017 until just a week ago when her time in the TARDIS came to an end in the incredible The Power of the Doctor which saw classic companions, Doctors and enemies do battle before a shock regeneration.
And speaking of shock regenerations, you can also take on the avatar of the new Fourteenth Doctor, who will be played by David Tennant in the upcoming 60th-anniversary specials of the show in 2023. Of course, Tennant also played the Tenth Doctor between 2005 and 2010… yes, I know it’s confusing!
The exciting news is that the new emote not only looks like the Doctor, but is equipped with the iconic sound of the Doctor’s sonic screwdriver.
If you’re interested in giving the Doctor Who bundle a try on the free game, head on over to Fall Guys now…
