Billie Piper’s I Hate Suzie Too gets an air date

Fans of Billie Piper’s excellent comedy drama I Hate Suzie will be pleased to know the show now has an air date, and it’s an early Christmas present…

I Hate Suzie Too will premiere on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW in the UK on 20th December 2022. That’s less than a month to wait!

The second series of the show will see Suzie attempt to reinvent herself after losing almost everyone that matters to her, with a new PR, new agent – and some new jobs like appearing on Dance Crazee (I wonder how that’s going to turn out?)

The new series is a “three-part anti-Christmas, Christmas special” where we will witness “Suzie fight to regain the love of the British public whilst her personal life spirals out of control. Will she win their hearts / votes? And restore her reputation? And at what cost?”

Let’s face it, if you like comedy drama, and you like Billie Piper, this is looking likely to be one of the best TV shows of the festive period.

Written by Lucy Prebble and co-created with the former Doctor Who star Billie Piper, the second series of I hate Suzie will have a number of new cast members joining the show including Douglas Hodge (Joker, The Great), Blake Harrison (The Inbetweeners, The Great), Layton Williams (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, Bad Education), Omari Douglas (It’s a Sin), Anastasia Hille (Snow White and the Huntsman), Angela Sant’Albano (The Nevers), Reza Diako (Tehran) and Yaz Zadeh (I May Destroy You).

In addition to this, Leila Farzad (Avenue 5), Daniel Ings (Sex Education), Phil Daniels (Eastenders), Lorraine Ashbourne (Bridgerton), and Elle Piper will all be reprising their roles from the first season of the show.

I Hate Suzie Too will be available on Sky Atlantic and streaming service NOW this December in the UK, Ireland and Italy
