Stranger Things star Joe Keery joins Lily James and Willem Dafoe in new movie

Stranger Things actor Joe Keery is joining Pam and Tommy star Lily James and veteran Hollywood star Willem Dafoe in a new indie movie called Finalmente L’alba, reports Deadline.

It is understood that Rachel Sennott and Rebecca Antonac are also attached to the new film project and the movie is set to be directed by Saverio Constanzo who in recent times has been working on the HBO adaptation of the Elena Ferrante novel My Brilliant Friend.

At present there is very little known about the plot of this film, however, we can see that it has some seriously good talent attached to it, so I’m sure it’ll be one that fans of movies will want to follow closely as it goes through production to release.

Keery has most recently been on the screens of television fans in season 4 parts one and two of Netflix mega-hit science fiction series Stranger Things, playing Steve Harrington. There is still one final season of Stranger Things to come, but its not expected until late 2023 or early 2024, so there’s probably time to be working on a movie or two in the meantime for Keery.

Keery, 30, has recently been working on another movie, Marmalade, where he stars opposite Camila Morrone and Aldis Hodge. The movie tells the story of a small-town man in jail who narrates the tale of a bank hesit to his cellmate who wants to get out of prison and reuinte with the love of his life.

He has also recently been announced to be one of the stars of the next part of the Fargo anthology from Noah Hawley and will be in the movie Free Guy.
