The new full trailer for the Star Wars series was revealed during the NFL Wild Card Game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on US television on Monday evening (16th January). A short teaser for the series was revealed at the Disney D23 event in September, but the new trailer shows a lot more of what fans can expect from Din Djarin and Grogu.
The Mandalorian was the first Star Wars TV show to be released by Disney’s streaming service Disney+ in 2019 and has gone on to be one of the most popular spin-offs of the franchise. The show has been followed by a number of other TV spin-offs including The Book of Boba Fett, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Andor.
The next Star Wars show on its way to the small screen is Ahsoka which is the first spin-off from The Mandalorian and is set in the same time period after the events of 1983’s Return of the Jedi.
