Following the premiere, episodes of the popular science fiction series are due to be released weekly on the streaming service for the entire 10-episode run.
The show features Patrick Stewart in his iconic role as Jean-Luc Picard, the character he played for seven series in Star Trek; The Next Generation. Picard follows the story of Jean-Luc in a new chapter of his life as he embarks on new adventures with old friends and new enemies.
Season three of Picard is confirmed to be the last of the series which also stars LeVar Burton, Michael Dorn, Jonathan Frakes, Gates McFadden, Marina Sirtis, Brent Spiner, Jeri Ryan and Michelle Hurd star alongside Patrick Stewart .

In the new series there will be new faces in the shape of Tony Award winner Amanda Plummer (The Fisher King,Pulp Fictio”) in a recurring role as Vadic, the mysterious alien captain of the Shrike, a warship that has set its sights on Jean-Luc Picard and his old crewmates from his days on the Enterprise.
Mica Burton (Critical Role,Vampire: The Masquerade: L.A. by Night) and Ashlei Sharpe Chestnut (Cruel Summer) also join the series in recurring roles.
Amazon also introduces more characters in a press release: “Ensign Sidney La Forge is played by Sharpe Chestnut and is the eldest daughter of Geordi La Forge and helmsman of the U.S.S. Titan. Ensign Alandra La Forge is played by Mica Burton, Geordi La Forge’s youngest daughter who works alongside her father. Daniel Davis will also take up the role again as Professor Moriarty from “Star Trek: The Next Generation.” “
Series one and two of Star Trek: Picard are currently available on Prime Video internationally in more than 200 countries and territories, and is distributed concurrently by Paramount+ in the U.S.
Series 3 of Star:Trek Picard will be available to stream from February 7th 2023
