I’m A Celebrity 2022: First look teaser of Ant and Dec
The I’m A Celebrity 2022 season is nearly upon us, and to make sure we’re in no doubt about it, ITV has tonight released the very first teaser trailer for the new season of the show.
After a two-year relocation to Wales because of the travel restrictions and logistics issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2022 series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! will be the first one back in Australia since 2019.
In the blink-and-you’ll-miss-it clip, we hear the voice of Ant and Dec coming from a helicopter as their luggage is thrown towards the familiar jungle.
At present, it is not known which celebrities will be entering the jungle for the new season of the show but rumoured names for the jungle in 2022 include Comedian Seann Walsh, Love Island 2018 star Olivia Attwood, 80s pop icon Boy George, diver and Olympic hero Tom Daley and EastEnders’ Natalie Cassidy to name but a few.
However, one thing’s for sure – there are always surprises when it come to the line-up, so expect some names that aren’t being rumoured to turn up at an airport near Brisbane in November.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! is one of the most successful entertainment formats in British TV and has been on our screens every year since it first started broadcasting in 2002.
Throughout the length of the series, it has always been fronted by Ant and Dec except in one season where Holly Willoughby stepped in to replace Ant.
The 2020 and 2021 series of the show were broadcast from a castle in Wales, but beyond those two seasons the show has always been made in Australia, the initial season in Tully, Queensland before moving to Dungay, New South Wales for subsequent seasons.
