First look at David Tennant and Georgina Tennant’s son Ty in House of the Dragon
House of the Dragon already has a fairly significant Doctor Who connection in that the show stars Matt Smith, best known to science fiction fans as the Eleventh incarnation of the Doctor, as Prince Daemon Targaryen. However, the show is about to have another one as in episode six of the show Ty Tennant, the son of David Tennant and Georgina Tennant joins the show.
Ty Tennant, who is 20-year-old, has appeared in a number of shows in the past, including War of the Worlds, Doom Patrol, Casualty and Around the World in 80 Days and will join House of the Dragon as the grown-up version of Aegon Targaryen, the child of King Viserys and Alicent Hightower. The character was first seen in the third episode of the show as a baby, but there is to be a significant time jump between episodes five and six of the series which will see a number of the younger members of the cast replaced.

Emma D’Arcy and Olivia Cooke will be joining the cast as the story moves on for more than a decade, playing the parts of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Alicent Hightower, that up until now have been portrayed by Milly Alcock and Emily Carey.
Older members of the cast such as Matt Smith will be aged using make-up rather than being recast.
Ty Tennant, who is in the official pictures above, also appears in the trailer for the sixth episode of the show.
House of the Dragon is the prequel to Game of Thrones and is set several hundred years before the events of the hit HBO fantasy series. It launched last month in the US and across the globe and immediately set new records for HBO and Sky, who carry the show in the UK on Sky Atlantic, for premieres.
The first season has ten episodes and it’s expected that the series will have multiple seasons due to its popularity with fans and critical acclaim.
House of the Dragon episode 6 can be seen from 9pm on HBO on Sunday night and from 2am Monday morning on Sky Atlantic in the UK.
